Observation:

the reality that there are multiplied millions of gods becomes immediately apparent to the mind as one travels through any area whether rural or urban in India. The extent of idols and temples is amazing to my western mind and even more amazing to my Christian world view. Many of the passages of the Old and New Testaments become much more significant to my spiritual mind.

 The reality that there are millions of people in the world who still bow down before idols and attend worship services in pagan temples makes the words of scripture even more relevant and contemporary to me. Seeing with my own eyes the gigantic idols erected against the skyline or horizon befuddles the mind which has been reared in modernity and technology.

To see mountain tops dedicated to a god or gods and temples which look so exotic and extravagant built so beautifully while such intricate design and detail just adds to the amazement of it all. While looking upon a culture of people of whom a great majority are in abject poverty while enriching the temples of these pagan gods. I only wish that I had had time to video them and maybe interview some of the priest and followers of these false gods.

Conclusion:

This trip was an important exploratory trip which gave me insight into a culture which is hard to understand from the outside and is still complex when one is immersed within it. I now know that there is much work which can and should be done in India. We were fortunate to see over three hundred souls saved, many were healed, and some were set free from demonic oppression and bondage. However:

There are many souls to save, many teachings which should be taught for the purpose of superseding cultural traditions which are diametrically opposed to Christianity. Many of the people are still in the spiritual darkness of paganism and need the true spiritual enlightenment of the gospel. There are people who are willing to hear the truth; they just need more people who are missions minded who are willing to sacrifice their creature comforts of western civilization for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

One who would go to India must be aware in order to be effective, they must be able to compromise to an extent the luxury of life in America for the discomfort of life in India. The people of India have held their traditions and customs for thousands of years so commitment, anointing, and stamina is needed; if one desires to minister to those in India.

Pray for our ministry as we continue to look to Africa, India, and wherever God’s prompting takes us concerning the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have Vision to Reach the World in Touching, Changing, and Enhancing Lives around the World in Tangibles Ways.

 
We purchased food for Orphans and the Poor and gave tangibly to the needy during this trip. People were fed and provided for financially because of our efforts on this Trip.

When you give to a Ministry or Charity, please remember us when you give. The gift of eternal life is the greatest gift you can give anyone; and to help them out of the depredation of the darkness is one of our key initiatives.
